About Prof. Dr. Fevzi Şentürk
Prof. Dr. Fevzi Şentürk completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and his ophthalmology specialty training at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his retina fellowship at the Istanbul Retina Institute, where he also earned the title of Associate Professor. He currently continues his academic work as a Professor at Istanbul Medipol University.
His scientific and clinical work focuses on retinal conditions, vitreoretinal surgery and cataract surgery. He has more than one hundred publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, and seven authored or translated books and book chapters. He is an active member of the Turkish Ophthalmological Association's Medical Retina, Surgical Retina and Electrodiagnostics units.
His clinical interests include cataract surgery and multifocal lens options, retinal conditions (macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment), intravitreal injections, glaucoma monitoring and laser treatment.
He continues to work at his clinic in Istanbul.
